Developed by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) both part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Features authoritative and up-to-date health information from Institutes and Centers at NIH. In addition, the American Geriatrics Society provides expert and independent review of some of the material found on this website. Each health topic includes general background information, open-captioned videos, quizzes and frequently asked questions (FAQs).

 Senior Navigator
Provides health and aging resources to Virginians, including about long term care facilities, retirement communities, local health care agencies, program costs, prescription drugs and other health care topics.  Also includes a Community Calendar of health-related events and an Ask an Expert feature  to get answers to specific health care questions.
